The Stirling Tapestries...


The magnificent Unicorn tapestries hanging in the Queen’s Inner Hall of the Palace were commissioned especially for Stirling Castle. They have been woven by hand, using techniques dating back to the 1400s.




The biggest tapestry project in 100 years is completed. For fourteen years weavers at West Dean College near Chichester have been recreating tapestries for Stirling Castle in Scotland. Here they are at work.....stirlingcastle.gov.uk/tapestries
