Saturday 1st July ANNE MENARY FABRIC OF THE UNIVERSE
On Saturday our speaker was Anne Menary who showed us a very surprising amount of hand stitched work. One set of four with 13 pieces in each section were done one a week over one year. Some of them are shown below.
All of these pieces were stitched together with herringbone stitch. They were not padded but were quite supple so they would fold easily for storage.
These are just a selection of the work that Anne brought with her.
