We made our latest swaps at our Saturday meeting and Monday workshop.  The variety of pieces is amazing.  Well done everyone.

APRIL MEETING A TAPESTRY JOURNEY

Our meeting on 2nd April was A Tapestry Journey and our guest speaker was one of our own members Marie Wray.
Marie took us around the world on her journey and what a fascinating journey it has been.  She herself said "it became an obsession" but what a lovely time she has had with tapestry.  Thank you very much Marie for a very pleasand and informative afternoon.

Monday Workshop 11th April, 2016. Twine Flowers

Requirements

String or coloured wool,

Firm card (cereal box or other)

Scissors for cutting card,

Very large needle or bodkin or crochet hook.

 The small kit required and two finished flowers.  It still needed some brain power to get the progress round the card.  A nice morning as always.
